Currently I am playing in Rumpus (melodeon, concertina and guitar), Backalong (melodeon, fiddle and guitar), and The Offshoot Band (fiddle, guitar and bass guitar). All these bands play dances ,functions and occasional pubs . There is always a caller added to give the dancing instructions. Each band has a different lineup except for me . THe repertoires are largely made up of traditional tunes from the British Isles and Ireland plus some North American stuff. I am also fortunate enough to regularly deputise in the long-running Spinach For Norman which I co-founded and played in for the first 10 years of their existence.
